The Legendary Chief

Our corporate logo includes an artist’s representation of Chief Tonganoxie, a member of the Delaware tribe who settled near Tonganoxie in the area that is now part of Southern Leavenworth County. The region featured an abundance of timber, water and game. Chief Tonganoxie shared the bounty of the land by offering meals, water and rest to travelers passing by his lodge. The Chief’s image is synonymous with our bank values of listening, helping and being community driven. Our daily goal is to serve our customers and communities to the best of our ability.
